This coffee is born in the original cradle of Coffea Arabica, in the rainforest of Kaffa, where the trees grow wild within a natural agroforestry system with over 90% tree canopy cover. The plants take up to four years to produce their first cherries, and harvesting is entirely manual, with only ripe cherries being selected. Cultivation is completely chemical-free and respectful of both the ecosystem and local communities.
The natural (sundried) process preserves and enhances the aromatic complexity typical of Ethiopian heirloom varieties, offering a clean, bright cup rich in fruity nuances.
